Applebee's brings back popular fan-favorite deal for one day only - it's completely free but you mus
RESTAURANT chain Applebee’s is bringing back a major deal on one popular menu item.
Boneless chicken wings will be completely free on Halloween — if you come prepared with a special code.
The large restaurant chain's wing deal is an annual favorite.
The holiday deal lasts one day only for online orders made with the promotional code “SCARY23.”
There’s an additional catch, however.
The discount will only apply for orders over $40, meaning customers will likely have to make a group order to get the free wings.

SCARY SALE
“Our Boneless Wings are ‘scary good’ and the perfect treat for families fueling up for trick-or-treating, potluck-ing or guests craving a late-night snack,” said Joel Yashinsky, chief marketing officer at Applebee’s.
The discount will expire at 12:00 on Halloween night.
The chain’s “spooktacular” deal applies to boneless wings in several of their sauces.
Sauces included are:

MORE HALLOWEEN ITEMS
Applebee’s is not alone in using Halloween in its marketing, as the holiday becomes an increasingly important shopping event.
Projections by the National Retail Federation estimate that consumer spending on Halloween is expected to reach $12.2 billion, up drastically from the previous year’s record high of $10.6 billion.
The jump comes as more Americans begin participating in the holiday’s festivities, according to a survey conducted by the group.
A record 73% of people surveyed said they will participate in Halloween-related activities this year, up from 69% in 2022.
Many retailers are jumping on the bandwagon of commercializing the holiday, offering deals on decor and food.
Sam’s Club recently announced a major sale ahead of the holiday, offering 100 new items on clearance.
The Walmart-owned warehouse chain is offering up to 40% off Halloween decor.
But even seemingly unrelated businesses are taking advantage of the festive spending spike.
Gamers worldwide are flocking to buy cheap video games as part of a Halloween sale by Epic Games.
