Its even f*cking worse, When Sean Strickland revealed his utmost disdain for Ronda Rousey

Publish date: 2024-06-13

At UFC 193 back in 2015, Ronda Rousey was handed her first ever MMA loss. After receiving a devastating sidekick on her neck, the Baddest Woman on the Planet lost her control and got knocked out by Holly Holm. Many outlets regarded this as the “Upset of 2015”. To some obvious consequences, Rousey went in a state of depression afterwards. She even tried to attempt a suicide, before realising that it’s time for her to have kids.

The former UFC Bantamweight Champion narrated her terrible mind-state after that Holly Holm loss on The Ellen DeGeneres show. Her confessions centered around how she overcame depression and suicidal nightmares. However, she made them look way too cool rather than taking a sensible approach. That misleading outlook of Ronda Rousey caught the attention of Sean Strickland, a current UFC middleweight fighter.

Putting Rousey in the right place, Tarzan slammed her for having such delusive thoughts over suicide. Sean accused Ronda for making her personal comments seem like a cool moment. Instead, the person actually going through this mental trauma only knows what it really means, Strickland implied. The latter further revealed his hate for The Arm Collector because she disrespected such a serious topic at expense of her fleeting thoughts.

Even though Ronda wouldn’t have intended to sound that way, she definitely hurt some souls. That 2015 loss literally torn her from inside. And in a natural occurance, the single-mother raised daughter experienced a rollercoaster of emotions. However, not everyone thinks likewise and the circumstances made it even sound worse.

“Suicidal thoughts, for the people who have it, it’s even f*cking worse. You fixate on it; you dwell on it. You start thinking about how you’re gonna do it. [Then] You start thinking about where you’re gonna do it. You start to think about how your people are gonna take it. You really fantasize about it and its f*cking miserable. It’s not a fleeting thought because you lost a fight. And I hate Ronda Rousey because she used something so f*cked up and so serious as a ‘but I overcame it’ strong moment, when it’s f*cking not.”

What is next for Ronda Rousey in WWE?

Speaking of Ronda Rousey in WWE, she recently lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair. Avoiding her zeal for a rematch, she’s lost her interest for the same. Rather, her eyes are now focused on creating carnage in the women’s tag-team division.

So being said, the current Champions Dakota Kai and IYO SKY are on target. Backing her best friend in the mission, Shayna Baszler is continuously making huge steps forward. Since late 2022, Rousey and Baszler have put everyone on notice. No one has been able to actually pose a challenge to them.

Seemingly, WWE is heading towards having Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler take control of the tag-team division. Most likely at WrestleMania 39, they’ll be crowned as new champs. After taking a break last week, both women are expected for tonight’s SmackDown episode.
